I am having computer issues at the moment so this post will include no pictures. It may not even be that long because I am typing on the iPad and that can be frustrating!
Now to catch you up... Friday night, Jonathan's grandfather met Jesus! It has been a sad time but he was suffering. We find comfort in knowing he has a new, healthy body now and isn't struggling any longer. He was a good man and will be missed. He loved his family and loved our sweet boy. He always told us that Bennett is a "fine fella". I am so glad Bennett had some time with him. Grandparents and great-grandparents are my greatest treasures!
This time change has really changed Bennett's wake up time. He is consistently waking up between 6:00 and 6:45 each morning... Even on the weekends. Ugh. He is going to bed at regular time but still waking up in the middle of the night. Bless it. It's thanksgiving break but it doesn't matter to him. We were up bright and early this morning.
Bennett has learned to say "night night". It makes me smile the way he says it. He knows exactly what it means too. If he isn't ready to go to sleep, he will shake his head!
He is currently cutting his incisors. The tops are in but we are waiting in the bottom ones. After these, we are done until his two year molars. He will have 16 teeth!
He is getting smarter and smarter each day. We are currently working on animal sounds. I downloaded an app to my phone and iPad that says the animal name and makes the animal sound. He seems to enjoy it and knows how to operate it. He even tries to imitate some of the sounds! It amazes me how much he picks up! When he pushes his toy truck, he makes a truck motor sound! He amazes me!
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving! Hopefully by Thursday, my new laptop keyboard will be installed and I can update with some turkey day pics of my sweet boy in his cute turkey shirt :)
