As always, we stay busy, busy, but it's all good! Our lives are FULL! :) Last Sunday after church, Bennett dug around in my closet and found two of my boots. Here he is modeling them!
On Friday night, we went downtown to enjoy the Carriage Rides and the Christmas kick-off festivities. This was Bennett's first Carriage Ride. We had to wait for about 30 minutes but he did GREAT! I was so impressed.

Riding the Carriage (B is munching on marshmallows. He kept saying "Eat, Eat!" and we had to hold him off til supper.)
Petting the horse
After supper, we went to a local restaurant downtown but the service was SO slow. We ended up leaving and went to Little Pigs. It was DELISH!

Today, we went to the Piggly Wiggly. Each visit, Bennett gets some goldfish to eat on the ride home. He said "BUUUUNCH! Mommy!" I looked back to see that he had dumped the whole carton in his lap. Sigh....
Bennett is constantly amazing us with the things he comes up with. He is so stinkin' funny! This weekend, we went to celebrate Emma and Evan's birthday. I told him we were going to sing to them. He sang, "Happy Birthday to BB, to BB!"
We have started counting. Bennett will say "1, 2" by himself. He will repeat 3, 4, 5, 6 and then say, "7, 8, 9" and sometimes he will say "10".
We have a CD player in B's room and we cut on his music and dance in his room. The other day, he took me by the hand and said, "Go, Mommy. BB's room!" I said, "What are we doing?" He replied, "Dance. Music!" We went to his room to find that he had pushed a music table toy up to the CD player to try to turn it on himself!
He loves to paint. He saw my craft paints on the pool table and insisted that "BB paint!"
He also loves Play Doh. He calls it by name and will go get it and say, "Make Play-Doh roads!" for his "big gucks! (that's big trucks in Bennett language!)
When something hurts, he will point to whatever it is and say "urts!" This is very helpful. Instead of wondering if he has a bellyache, etc., he will tell us.
Bennett has a great sense of direction. We were driving past the Hastings' neighborhood on our way home the other night. We had come a different direction and it was dark. Jonathan and I were talking and heard Bennett say, "Warren house!" He was right! We were getting close to their road! I was amazed. He definitely didn't get that from me!
