The Gang's All Here

December 23rd is one of my favorite days of the year. It's Christmas Eve Eve and the anticipation is at it's peak. The presents are wrapped. The decorations stay lit for 48 hours... it's just a good feeling.
Our dining room tree

Our playroom tree-- my favorite. It's where all of our handmade ornaments and keepsake ornaments are. I LOVE it!

Our mantle has one new stocking this year!

Another reason the 23rd is my fave day is because my ENTIRE family is at my mama's. All together there are 14 of us so it's a good time. The kids have a blast and us adults have a good time, too!

We made some Christmas goodies.

And we made reindeer food-- as is our tradition.

Ashton and Holden-- notice Holden's short sleeved onesie under his longall. The weather was wet but unseasonably warm. This weather really  messed up my plans as far as Christmas attire I had already purchased for the boys!

We hung out during the day at mama's and went home during naptime. About 6, we headed to Saluda to Mig's-- our annual Christmastime tradition.

Then it was time to head back to open gifts.

Me and my boys

Officer Bennett-- this boy loves to dress up and pretend!

Holden playing with Caroline's new Elmo.

Uncle Abo feeding Holden a bottle... Holden is huge-- these are 18 month pajamas!

Opening his first stocking!

The whole crew-- one smiling, two looking the wrong direction, one grimacing and one winking-- this, my friends, is called "winning" when you try to take a picture of all five grandchildren!

After all the fun and festivities, we headed home to get some rest to gear up for Round 2 on Christmas Eve.
