2015 was a great year for our family. We transitioned seamlessly from a family of three to a family of four and welcomed the most precious baby there ever was! 2016 has some big shoes to fill... that's for sure!
On New Year's Eve, we headed to the Hastings' for a little food and fireworks. This is the sweetest little group of friends and I am so thankful for them... and their parents! The kids and the adults had a blast. We lasted until about 9:30... which was very late for Holden. We headed home and our whole house was asleep by 11:00. He he!
On New Year's night, we had an impromptu pancake supper at home with my parents to try out the new firepit I got for Christmas from Jonathan and the boys. We all bundled up and headed outside after getting our bellies full.
Baby brother wasn't too keen on missing the fun so instead of going to sleep, he opted to come outside, too!

My big boy LOVES some fireworks!
The flash got him again!
Now, let's see... New Year's Resolutions...
*to continue nursing to the one year mark.
*to stay on top of our laundry. If you know me, this one is a biggie!
* to do a better job of getting pictures printed and into our photo albums.
* to continue to be present in the moment...
*to try to be a little more "go with the flow" and not get freaked out by spontaneity.
*to continue to be active in our church and to become more intentional in our Bible reading at home with the boys.
*to remember that the babies are only little once... and some things just aren't that big of a deal.
