New Adventures

Well... our sweet boy is getting so big and is beginning a few new adventures. This past week we have started several new things!

Hanging out with cousins... this isn't new but still so much fun! :)

CEREAL! We started rice cereal this past week to see how it would go. Our boy doesn't LOVE it but gobbles it down :) We are going to try oatmeal cereal this week. This part of our nightly routine has been inserted BEFORE bathtime. We definitely make a mess! Bennett tries the texture with his mouth... and his hands.

 

Perfecting the use of the transition cup. B loves to hold it by the handles but can't figure out how to get the milk out of there. He chews and chews but hardly ever sucks.


 

What a big boy!



This isn't new either... but rocking and reading together is still one of our favorite things to do together.





This is nothing new either... the bib. We even invested in about 10 more. These are wardrobe staples at our house between the spitting up and the drool. Obviously, we were out of monogrammed bibs and had to pull out this "wordy" treasure. This is NOT our going out in public bib.... and YES, this afghan has PINK in it. It's one of my greatest treasures though and I love to wrap our sweet boy up in it. My precious Meme made it for me before I was born. It is pink, blue, green and yellow because Mama didn't want to find out if I was a boy or a girl. This blanket was made with love by one of my favorite people. Meme would have loved this sweet angel.





Mommy and B photo shoots are nothing new either. :)



Here is our sweet boy in the bouncy... strapped in, might I add. He is watching Baby Einstein. This is new as he will now sit and watch a whole episode while Mommy gets ready in the morning. I know sitting my kid in front of the tube will not win me any Parent of the Year awards- this doesn't happen often as we prefer to talk to him and interact with him ourselves.... but a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do. Especially when said lovebug wakes up thirty minutes early. Besides, its educational... right?




This play mat isn't new but Bennett's reaction to it is! Our sweet boy is actually beginning to interact with it and play with toys.



This is new, too! I put together Bennett's highchair yesterday and we had our first meal in it last night. He really likes it!


 

He loves trying to pull up on the tray. Again, notice the WET bib. It's a "wordy" one. It does not leave our house. :)

Another new adventure is that our sweet boy is OFFICIALLY rolling over from his back to his tummy. I got to see him do it for the first time Saturday morning :)! Yay, Bennett! He is growing up so fast! We are loving every minute of our daily adventures with our sweet boy!
