Happy Anni-vacation Day!

This weekend, we celebrated THREE different events... 

Event numero uno was VACATION. We went to NC to camp and Jonathan's parents took their camper and went, too. The trip went relatively well... for a camping trip I guess. It was nice to do and see new things but it is SO much work, especially with a toddler. 

We decided to couple this trip and our very willing babysitters with an anniversary trip. We spent Friday, our fifth wedding anniversary, at the Biltmore House. It was great to spend a little time together and reconnect for a bit in a BEAUTIFUL place. We really enjoyed our day together. Here we are taking a quick break for a picture.

On the way back to the camper, we decided to go buy WalMart and get Bennett a tricycle. The little girl camping behind us had a pink one and B loved it! Here he is trying his out for the first time.

On Saturday, we needed something to keep our little fella entertained. I found a Children's Museum not too far from where we are so we decided to check it out! It was amazing. There were two floors and 11 rooms on each floor. Each room was themed. Here is B being a fireman and driving the firetruck. This was his FAVORITE room!

This room was so neat! They had tubing all along the wall. There was air that pushed through the tube and sent balls and scarves flying! B loved it... we all had fun in there!

This is the Alphabet room. There were "trees", a barn, and water with a kayak. Here is B in the kayak. 

The next room was all about magnets and microscopes.  

B and Gram had fun playing in the Mexican Cantina Cafe. B loved the microwave the best!

They even had a garden to explore.  

This was too cool... a clear bee box. Being a teacher and a nerd, I loved this! Who am I kidding, I loved it all!

On Sunday, Father's Day, we packed it up to head home. Here is Bennett enjoying a popcicle to cool off after all that packing he did :)

The campground we went to was called Jellystone and featured Yogi Bear. Here is Yogi visiting the campsites. B loved him from a distance. Here he is CLINGING to Jonathan. 

Father's Day 2013

On Sunday afternoon, my brother, B and I headed to Ware Shoals to visit my daddy. Bennett loved playing on the gocart and tricycle Papa got him! 

After our visit with Daddy, we headed to my Mama's to see our other dad. God blessed us with two wonderful men who love us... and who love B. Here is Bennett eating all of his granddaddy's peanut butter pie! 

Monday started our week off. We have had fun just hanging out and sleeping late! Monday's afternoon snack was Oreos. It turns out that B only likes the cream part... and gave his wet, soggy cookies to me!
