Weekend Fun

As Bennett is getting older, we are finding more and more things to do as a family. We want his childhood to be fun and magical... and carefree! This is very important to me! This past weekend, we had lots of new experiences!

This picture is a bit of a sidenote. Bennett is really in to using "REAL" things. Remember my eyelash curler and the nail clippers? His newest "toys" are my make up brush and eyeshadow compact and my razor. He grabbed these and knew just what to do... well, sort of. This picture was taken after B's self makeover :) He has eyeshadow on his face, and belly, and legs! Ha ha!

On Friday night, Marcie text to ask us if we wanted to go eat at Chic-Fil-A and go to Jumpin' Jax. B did great while we were eating and LOVED the inflatables at Jumpin' Jax. Mr. Independent wanted to go down the slides by himself! These aren't little slides, either. They are TALL. Oh, my fearless child! We had a great time with the Turner's and The Hastings'.

Bennett pushed Emma around for a while... and then they switched after B tried to pull her out by her head!

When we got home on Friday night, Jonathan pulled out some homemade ice cream I had made earlier in the week. He didn't get to eat much because B grabbed it and then went straight to his spot on the couch! Here is my sweet boy, and his skinned knees, enjoying the ice cream!

On Saturday morning, we were kind of lazy! Here is my sidekick! Isn't he precious?

After we got movin', we decided that since the weather was so pretty, we would head to Emerald Farm. This place was really neat and had goats, llamas, peacocks, chickens, and fish. They also had a train. B loved the train!

On Saturday night, we went out to eat, did a little shoe shopping, and went to see the Festival of Flowers Topiaries around town. Here is our sweet boy with the lion!
