Whew! It has been a wonderful week! We have been going here and there but we have had a great time visiting with family and friends.
My brother, sisters, brothers in law, nieces, and nephew all came home the weekend before Christmas. On Monday, I made cupcakes with the kids and we had a birthday party for Jesus. Bennett has been practicing "Happy Birthday" for weeks now!
While the cupcakes were baking, we made a little reindeer food for Santa's reindeer. Bennett thoroughly enjoyed dumping glitter into the oatmeal.
When the cupcakes were done, it was time to decorate them! As you can see, someone got a bit messy!
Baking wore them out so they relaxed a little on the couch.
Even Uncle Abo got in on the relaxation.
On Christmas Eve morning, we were off to Jonathan's grandparent's house. All of his aunts, uncles, and cousins were there. We had a great time.
The best pic we could get of the great-grands.
Bennett's face when you say, "Let me see your eyebrows!" Love it!
After a nap rest on Christmas Eve afternoon, my daddy came to do Christmas with us. Me and B decided to take a few selfies beforehand :)

Bennett, say "Cheese!" I love this face!
On Christmas Eve night, we headed up the hill to hang out with my granddaddy and uncle for awhile. After we came home, we sprinkled the reindeer food so Santa could find our house!
We gave B a bath, read the Christmas story from the Bible, and took a family picture in front of the tree.
Bennett decided he needed to taste test Santa's cookies... and his milk!
Santa came after someone finally went to bed!
On Christmas morning, B didn't know what to play with first! He loved it all! Here he is doing a little cooking!
Jonathan and I opened our presents. The last one I opened was from B. It was... Christmas Lights! If Jonathan asked him what he wanted to get me, his response was always, "Cwismas Wites!"
After we saw what Santa brought, we headed to Gaga and Gigi's to open gifts and then went to Big Big's for our annual family breakfast. After those festivities, we headed to McCormick to open gifts with Jonathan's parents, sister, and our future brother-in-law. :)
Gram and Papa G got B a playhouse!!!
After we opened gifts, B was getting tired, so we headed back to Ninety Six before our final Christmas get together at my granddaddy's.
Here are B and Emma rocking in Big Big's new porch rocker!

Today, we have been a little lazy! Jonathan, my dad, and brother all put together B's present from my parents... a new trampoline. He calls it a "Gump Gump"... that's right... gump as in Forrest Gump. :)
We had a wonderful Christmas remembering the REAL reason for the season and spending precious time with our families. I am so grateful for that sweet baby lying in a manger that was sent to save me. What a precious gift!
