Right now, Bennett thinks it's awesome for him and Holden to match. This makes his momma's heart HAPPY HAPPY! So... what's a girl to do but whip up some matching shirts for my shugas?! Aren't they adorable!?
They wore these outfits to Jonathan's work kids' Christmas party at the skating rink. Bennett had been skating once before but he LOVED it this time... and did well! His daddy did well on his skates, too!
One day after Jonathan got off work, we ran out to the backyard with my camera and self-timer for a Christmas card picture since the Santa pictures were less than stellar! I was pretty impressed with our picture-- all things considered. Holden would rather watch the dogs than smile.
I am taking full advantage of the fact that B thinks this is cool. One day, he will not heart it.
Last Saturday night, I had tickets to The Polar Express at our local train museum. The idea of this event was great. The actual event?? Not so much. It was crowded and LONG.... and lots of waiting. Definitely not ideal for little kids. Oh well.
Waiting on the magic show to start.
My big boy didn't want his face painted so he's eating his candy cane instead.
Me and my babies.
My big boy making his craft. After this, he said he was ready to go. Jonathan and I didn't argue the fact that we hadn't seen Santa or heard the story. :)
Here are my sweet boys last Sunday in some of their Christmas outfits. Holden's face makes me laugh.
Last Sunday afternoon, my big boy and I decorated our gingerbread house while Holden napped. I helped him do some but turned him loose to do a lot of it. He loved it and did a great job! He wanted it to look like the box. Sorry, kid. That never happens.
Holden has done a great job self-feeding. Other than yogurt in the mornings, he feeds himself lunch, snacks, and supper. Here he is after some peas. They ended up in his eyebrows!
My big boy loves to help me cook. Here he is using the cheese grater to help make sausage balls. :)
And while we were cooking, little brother was trying to cut some teeth while walking around the kitchen in his "wheels".
Rudolph Holden-- some of Big brothers shenanigans!
