Potty Training Boot Camp: Day 1

Whew. I am exhausted! Potty Training Boot Camp is no joke! Ha ha! Bennett did great though! He really did. I am so proud of him. This morning, he got up and we put on some big boy underwear. They were very baggy but we decided to try them anyways. He went outside with Jonathan for a few minutes and came in wet. We stripped him down to just his shirt. This went much better. Throughout the day, he went potty 12 times and only had four accidents. He was rewarded with popcicles, gummies, suckers, M&Ms... lots of good stuff. We reminded him every 15 minutes or so but a few times, he would say "Tee-Tee" and go on his own!Oh, by the way, one of the aforementioned accidents was poop on the carpet! Oh my! That wasn't fun but it was only one time. Thank goodness! For naptime and bedtime, we are using pull-ups. Hopefully, tomorrow will be just as successful! Stay tuned...
