I love a small town festival. I always have. This is evidenced by the fact that when Jonathan and I were dating, we even went to the Poultry Festival. Classy, right? This weekend, we headed to the big town of Ware Shoals to take in the Catfish Feastival. Nope... it's not misspelled! It's FEASTival. :) We met my daddy there and had a great time. Bennett rode his first rides... and loved them all. There were some that he could even ride unsupervised. What???? When did he get big enough to do that?
We even found his friend Autumn! He loves this girl!
The Saturday before Memorial Day, my parents always have a big cookout. My sisters come in and we have a great time. Bennett loves playing with his cousins... and we love having them play with B. They keep him entertained for hours and Ashton is so good with him... Kensie is too but Ashton is definitely the more responsible one!

On Sunday evening, we headed to the lake for supper with Jonathan's side of our family. We had a great time. Bennett loved riding the boat. Here are he and cousin Evi taking a ride.
His Daddy even let him drive the boat. I don't know who is more excited... Bennett for driving the boat or Jonathan for having his little buddy excited about riding!
On Monday, we were both off. We decided to take B on his first fishing trip. He was super excited about using his Spiderman fishing rod! We got there, baited his hook and he fished for about 30 minutes. In those thirty minutes, he caught three little bream. He was pretty impressed but he didn't want to touch them! :) It was a lot of fun and we plan to go back.
