Every year, the day after Thanksgiving, we have gone to get our tree. It's been this way for as long as I can remember. This year was no different. We went to Wright's Tree Farm. We have tried a few different ones but this is one from my childhood. The boys love the hay ride... and all the tractors.
Bennett loves to carry the pole to measure the tree. Holden decided he would help.
Two years ago, Bennett decided this was the tree we were supposed to take home--- a 50' cedar tree. We retell the story each year. This year, we decided to take a picture of Bennett with his tree... and he even recreated the "cry" he did when we told him it wouldn't fit in our house :)
We ended up with the perfect tree. It didn't require any reshaping of any kind... and it fit perfectly in our den. That hasn't happened in a few years.
